OCXO: 200
Datasheet: OCXO: 200
When the highest frequency stability available is needed, an engineer is best suited to use an OCXO. An OCXO is larger and requires more power than an oscillator that operates at room/air temperature (largely due to the fact that the OCXO operates with a heater). While an OCXO may be larger than other types of oscillators, the frequency stability from a crystal is the best in an OCXO.
Standard use of an OCXO includes controlling various frequencies for test and measurement applications, military communications equipment and radio transmitters, and base stations.
The OCXO 200 features an operating temperature range of -40 to + 85 Degrees C (with other options available). The power consumption at +25 Degrees C during warm up (typically three minutes) is 3.5 W. and 1.2 W. during operations at a steady state.
