Blade Antennas
Nurad Technologies blade antennas are currently in production and are available immediately for various airborne applications, including tactical and strategic aircraft and UAVs. These antennas have been qualified to withstand the rigors of extreme weather and temperature variables.
Broadband Blade Antenna

The new Nurad blade antenna, Model 11D28500-10, offers ultra-broad bandwidth from 480 MHz to 2400 MHz. This antenna has peak gain of 4dBiL, with a nominal gain of 2.5dBiL, includes built-in lightning protection and has 200w cw power handling capability. Dimensions are 5.25 max base width, 5.55 total height, .59 blade thickness and 1.75 max base width inches and weigh only 9 ozs.
Model 15OM1 Linearly Polarized Blade Antenna

The Model 15OM1 linearly polarized blade antenna, one of a product line of new broadband antennas, that operates over a frequency range of 950MHz to 2GHz. The antenna has peak gain of +4.0dBiL and omni-directional coverage in the azimuth plane. Key features include power handling of up to 100W CW, VSWR of less than 2.0:1, a Type-N Jack coaxial connector (other types available) and an integral composite radome. This electrically small antenna is 3.8" tall and weighs approximately 1 lb. The compact design of Model 15OM1 makes it suitable for use in high dynamic airborne applications and is ideal for new airborne communication applications such as JTRS.
Model 11C23300 Blade Antenna

Model 11C23300 is a high performance, robust blade antenna qualified for supersonic flight. This L-Band (960 to 1220 MHz) antenna features omni-directional azimuth coverage, gain of a quarter wave monopole (3dB peak), vertical polarization, and low VSWR. It has been designed and qualified for use aboard new aircraft with signature control requirements. This antenna includes a single coaxial connector, a flat conductive base plate for easy installation, and an all metallic antenna design. The antenna is designed to withstand high aerodynamic loads. The antenna employs sealed construction and rain erosion antistatic coating.
