Product Overview: Bandpass Filters

Anatech Electronics Bandpass filters covers the frequency range from 300 KHz to 20 GHz. These bandpass filters are available with 2 to 15 sections, with bandwidths from 1% to 100%. The common response type are Chebyshev, Butterworth, and Elliptic. Other reponse type are also used depending on the requirement.

Anatech Electronics bandpass filters are optimized for minimum insertion loss by keeping the package as small as possible. The VSWR, or Return loss characteristics in the bandpass filters, are also optimized for a good 50 Ohms match impedance.

The bandpass filters can be designed for very narrow bandwidth as well as very large bandwidth by using proprietary design techniques.

Our standard bandpass characteristics, depends on the complexity, and the design approach. Parameters such as insertion loss and power handling capacity, can be enhanced by using special design techniques.

Our bandpass filters are offered in several package styles, such as connectorized bandpass filters, Surface mount bandpass filters, and Drop-In bandpass filters. Our bandpass filters can be supplied with SMA connectors, N type, BNC, TNC, as well as SMT, and PC mount.

Our bandpass filters come in several technologies, which depends on the frequency, bandwidth, and power handling. Anatech Electronics, will manufacture custom bandpass filters, and special packaging.in order to meet our customer requirements.

SAW Bandpass Filter
SAW bandpass Filters use Piezoelectric effect to convert an Electromagnetic signal into an acoustic signal, and vice versa. Saw bandpass filters provide sharp cut-off characteristics, superior linear phase characteristics, and good stability over temperature. Saw bandpass filters provide an insertion loss of 2.5 - 20dB and can be used upto 3000 MHz.

Cavity Bandpass Filter
Crystal bandpass filters use piezoelectric effect of quartz crystals and convert their own mechanical motion into electric signals. The low thermal expansion of Quartz crystals allows crystal bandpass filters to produce stable frequencies over a wide temperature range. Crystal bandpass filters have higher Q factor than LC filters. Because of the property of Quartz, crystal bandpass filters are built upto 150 - 200 MHz. At higher frequencies, the crystal tends to be very thin, brittle and unreliazable.

Ceramic Bandpass Filter
Anatech Electronics Ceramic Bandpass filters, cover the frequency range from 500MHz to 6 GHz. These bandpass filters are available with 2 to 8sections, and bandwidths from 1% to approximately 30%.

Anatech Electronics Ceramic bandpass filters, are specifically designed where real estate is of a major concerns. The ceramic bandpass filter can be designed with discrete ceramic resonators, or as Monoblock ceramic bandpass filters. They are used in wireless applications such as INMARSAT, GPS, PCS, UMTS, WiFi, WiMax, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, WLAN, WILAN, and many other wireless applications.

LC Bandpass Filter
Anatech Electronics Lumped Components (LC) bandpass filters have a high Q factor due to the fact that more space is available. The result is lower insertion loss and better selectivity.

Standard designs are 0.05dB Chebyshev response. Other response type such as Butterworth, Elliptic, Bessel as well as special filter shapes are also available.
