EMLOUNGE is a powerful 3-D electromagnetic CAD environment from Emagware for full-wave simulation
of large-scale radiation; scattering, wave propagation, and RF design problems in engineering. Built upon
the latest advances in scientific computing technologies, this visual CAD tool brings to your desktop the
ultimate in computational power and versatility. A streamlined user interface puts all the CAD features and
simulation utilities at your fingertips with the click of a button. EMLOUNGE features it’s own comprehensive
3-D CAD modeler as well as the capability to import and export standard CAD formats (STEP, IGES, etc.).
Solutions are generated utilizing a highly efficient finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation engine
optimized for speed and memory usage and a fully integrated SPICE-based circuit simulator for self-consistent
modeling of lumped passive/active, linear/nonlinear devices within every time step of the FDTD algorithm.

EMTERRANO is a site-specific wireless propagation modeling tool that enables
engineers to quickly determine how radio waves propagate in a given urban or rural
environment. The rapid growth of wireless communications along with the high costs
associated with the design and deployment of effective wireless infrastructures
have created an urgent need for computer aided design tools for communication networks
and virtual system planning. In many cases engineers use statistical prediction models
based on measurements that may exhibit considerable error, especially in areas having
mixed building sizes. Advanced ray tracing solutions, on the other hand, find the
dominant propagation paths specific to the site in question and offer a much higher
level of accuracy and computational efficiency. These methods model the physical paths
and the mechanisms by which radio signals propagate from transmitter to receiver.
EMTerrano calculates the true signal characteristics at the actual location using
databases of buildings and terrain at a specific site, not those of an average or
representative environment.
