Microsemi Power Products Group was created in 2006 with the acquisition of Advanced Power Technology, Inc., a company at the forefront of power semiconductor technology since its founding in 1984. This organization offers products featuring bipolar, VDMOS, and LDMOS technologies. All of the products are based on silicon and span the frequency range from 1MHz to 3.5GHz using supplies from as low as a few volts to as high as 300V.
