The COM242 series antennas are vertically polarized, omni-directional three (3) port tactical communications antennas
for the VHF, UHF and EPLRS bands. This antenna meets the rigorous mechanical and environmental requirements of
the US military. Designed for 100 Watts of CW power, the COM242 has a typical VSWR of 2.0:1 at the input connectors.
The antenna radiates an omni-directional pattern in the azimuth plane and a figure eight pattern in the elevation plane.
Maximum power is directed towards the horizon.
