Ultra-Compact, General-Purpose Low Noise Synthesizer: Model 845-M

The 845-M is a compact (21 x 10.5 x 6 cm) low noise synthesizer covering the 0.4 GHz to 20 GHz frequency range. It offers 1 milli-Hz resolution, a less than 100 micro-second switching speed, and a less than 1 micro-second per point sweep.
Besides its low phase noise and fast switching speed, this synthesizer also features an internal high-stability OCXO reference which can be phase-locked to a programmable external reference. It’s ideal for ATE and telecom/SATCOM applications, and can also be used as a local oscillator (LO) for frequency converters. It operates with an external 6V DC supply and comes with BNC’s SigGen GUI software package. For more information on the synthesizers features and specifications, download the datasheet.
