Stand-Alone Controller Kit For RF Switches
Dow-Key Microwave’s versatile platform offers a kit-controller package that allows the end user to build and program a fully integrated switching solution at a minimum cost. The kit provides hardware, such as a 3x7-inch PCB board (with embedded software and switch patch panel) and dc-cables, for controlling and integrating Dow-Key RF switches. This package is a great solution for low-budget projects and for applications where building your own RF switch solution is preferable. To learn more, download the datasheet or contact Dow-Key.

2013: The Year Of WiGig?
By Paul Kruczkowski, Editor
The massive Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last week served as a coming-out party for WiGig (802.11ad). The 60 GHz technology, which enables devices to communicate wirelessly at multi-gigabit speeds, was on display in a big way at CES, marking the beginning of what appears to be robust future for 802.11ad. Highlights were the release of the first tri-band reference design, combining 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 802.11ad WiGig, the first commercially available products, including the Dell Latitude 6430U Ultrabook, and multi-gigabit networking demos. |

FEKO is a suite of tools that is used for electromagnetic field analysis of 3D structures. FEKO simulations are based on the Method of Moments (MoM) approximation to Maxwell's equations and features several extensions to the MoM for the solution of complex problems, including large structures (MLFMM) and human tissue (FEM). |
