Standard and Waterproof RF Connectors: QMA Series
This series of RF Connectors feature a quick lock locking mechanism as opposed a standard threaded connection. This saves a significant amount of installation time without sacrificing the line’s excellent characteristics. (10x faster than threaded SMA) A waterproof line is available in addition to the standard line of QMA RF connectors
The standard QMA line of RF Connectors are ideal for applications involving LTE, WiMAX, base stations, and radio links. Its quick lock connection make it a good choice for moving and routing cables, as a screwed connection has a higher risk of being loosened on them. Fast mating results in faster and easier interconnections within outdoor units.
The waterproof QMA line of RF connectors are especially good for base stations exposed to humid environments, Wi-Fi, WLAN, and WiMAX applications where small interfaces are needed with interconnections between modules and antennas, outdoor RFID applications needing protecting from harsh conditions, and more. The quick lock feature also for fast and simple connections in or to outdoor radio link modules.
