Software for Electromagnetic Design: QuickWave
QWED offers software for electromagnetic design. A 2D and 3D version is available.
QuickWave-V2D electromagnetic design software is based on Maxwell equations re-expressed in cylindrical coordinates. It’s particularly ideal for the analysis of axisymmetrical structures like horn, rod, and biconical antennas, resonators, and circular waveguide discontinuities.
QuickWave-3D electromagnetic design software is based on the conformatl FDTD method and supplemented with a range of unique models for curved boundaries, media interfaces, modal excitation, and parameter extraction. It can be applied to a variety of microwave and millimeter wave (mm wave) problems and can be used to perform calculations of S-parameters, radio patterns, input impedances, heating patterns, embedding impedances, and scattering patterns. It can also be used in the determination of Eigen frequencies.
