Fischer Connectors designs and manufactures overmolds for silicon cable assemblies that are able to withstand steam autoclaving, high heat, and resistance to disinfectants and sterilant solutions.
If you add a low friction coating, you can reduce friction (as its name implies) and reduce overall cable damage. There are two main offerings of overmolds for high-heat applications involving medical devices – the disposable series, and the plastic series.
