High gain and low noise figure make device suitable as first-stage LNA in multi-receiver applications requiring broadband performance

Richardson RFPD, Inc. announced recently the availability and full design support capabilities for a new 22–38 GHz low noise amplifier from M/A-COM Technology Solutions.

The MAAL-011111 is a three-stage GaAs MMIC LNA featuring a small signal gain of 19 dB with a noise figure of 2.5 dB. It is offered in a lead-free, 3x3 mm QFN package, does not need external components, and is self-biased—requiring only a single 3.3V bias supply.

The MAAL-011111 is ideally suited as a first-stage LNA in multi-receiver applications that require broadband performance with simple bias requirements and ease of volume manufacturing.
