Recognizing and Separating Signals in Spectrograms
Source: Narda Safety Test Solutions GmbH
Spectrograms represent the levels values of any measured spectrums through different colors and line by line displays. The image produced is a depiction of frequency and time information. Since these results can be difficult to display at high time resolutions, the measurements are usually compressed, producing a clear display, yet destroying valuable information at the same time. This application note describes how the IDA 2 can be used to record data pairs, generate spectrums, spectrograms, or time responses with unaltered, uncompressed data.
