Oscillator Technology Basics
Selection of appropriate oscillator technology for an application can be critical to success or failure of a project. This paper discusses the three most common oscillator technologies in use today in time and frequency applications, namely temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO), oven controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO), and rubidium atomic oscillators (Rb oscillator). Base Station Antenna Design Flow
Antenna Magus is antenna design software that provides a catalog of antennas with concise documentation, design algorithms, and export models. This helps to integrate the antenna's design into the device or system in which it will be used. This article shows how Antenna Magus is ideal for quickly finding a first order design, assessing its performance, and exporting parameterized models to AWR's Microwave Office/AXIEM, where parameters can be edited and simulated to find the best possible solution for a wide range of problems.
