Modeling Far- and Near-Fields for a Tower-Mounted Antenna Array

A 900 MHz cellular antenna composed of 3 vertical arrays is modeled by Delcross Savant EM simulation software, as installed on a 40m high tower. Far-field radiation patterns are computed and shown for a single array, and then for a tower-mounted arrangement of 3 sector coverage arrays. Savant simulations of the near-fields are also shown and animated in the volume surrounding the antenna.
