Low Jitter VCXOs: M3027 And M3028 Series

The new M3027 and M3028 Series of low jitter VCXOs are designed with 3D overtone crystal to provide excellent performance and stability over the entire operating temperature range and wide pull range. These devices feature LVCMOS output, low RMS jitter performance, low phase noise, and RoHS directive compliance.

Available in surface mount technology (SMT) packages, these VCXOs are ideal for use as low noise reference clocks for Phase Lock Loops in 4G/LTE, Ethernet, SyncE, telecommunication, broadcasting, datacom, and test and measurement applications.

M3027 Features:

  • 5 x 7 mm ceramic surface-mount CMOS output
  • Frequency range: 1-170 MHz
  • Up to +/-20 ppm stability over -40°C to +85°C
  • Less than 0.4 ps max RMX jitter (12k-20M)
  • 3D overtone design
  • Industrial temperature range: -40°C to +85°C

M3028 Features:

  • 5 x 7 mm ceramic surface-mount LVPECL/LVDS output
  • Frequency range: 30-170 MHz
  • Up to +/-20 ppm stability over -40°C to +85°C
  • Less than 0.1ps max RMX jitter (12k-20M)
  • 3D overtone design
  • Industrial temperature range: -40°C to +85°C
