Haigh‐Farr’s L‐Band Omnislot™ is a rugged conformal antenna designed to provide the same radiation characteristics as a Blade/Stub antenna. The Omnislot™ may be provided flat or curved to naturally mate with cylindrical or conical surfaces. The antenna utilizes Haigh‐Farr’s well‐proven fabrication techniques and is designed to operate in high‐dynamic environments.

Haigh‐Farr’s L‐Band Omnislot™ is a rugged conformal antenna designed to provide the same radiation characteristics as a Blade/Stub antenna. The Omnislot™ may be provided flat or curved to naturally mate with cylindrical or conical surfaces. The antenna utilizes Haigh‐Farr’s well‐proven fabrication techniques and is designed to operate in high‐dynamic environments.

Center Frequency: 1090 MHz
Bandwidth: 5%
Impedance: 50 Ohms nominal
VSWR: <2.0:1 typical, 2.2:1 max at band edges
Power: 20 Watts CW, >1000 Watts peak
Polarization: Linear - Vertical
Radiation Pattern: Same as ¼ Wavelength Stub - see attached patterns

MECHANICAL:
Connector: One SMA female (other types, including direct cable feed are available).
Finish: All exposed metallic surfaces either nickel-plated per QQ-N-290 or passivated stainless steel.
Environmentals: Typical for supersonic tactical missiles and kinetic kill weapons.
Dimensions: Design Parameter - Approximately 230mm x 230mm x 7.5mm thick – (Antenna may be provided flat or curved for conformal fit to cylindrical or conical surfaces).
Mounting / Securing: Adhesive and/or Screw - The antenna may be screwed to the vehicle through the stainless steel inserts, which provide a load bearing surface for a #10 or M5, 100° flathead screw.
Construction: The antenna is of stripline construction with all circuitry contained inside, and thus, well protected. In addition, a thermal protective cover is utilized, which provides protection from aeroheating. This construction has been utilized on several Mach 3, and higher, applications.
