Industry's Smallest OCXO
CTS Electronic Components’ Model 144 is the industry’s smallest oven controlled crystal oscillator, with a height of only 8 mm. It operates in the 8 MHz to 120 MHz frequency range and is ideal for applications involving synthesizers, portable wireless communications, battery powered applications, and portable wireless devices.
In addition to its ultra-miniature size, this OCXO features a very short warm-up time (to 30 seconds), a less than 150mW power consumption, an HCMOS output, excellent temperature stability, and low phase noise. Internal heated resonator (IHR) technology has ensured that the OCXO has these features, along with others, despite its incredibly small size.
The oscillator’s SC cut crystal is housed inside a TO-8 vacuum package, which radically reduces its weight and contributes to the previously mentioned power consumption and warm-up time. For more information on the Model 144 OCXO, download the datasheet.
