1 to 2.5 GHz High Power Amplifier In 8U Chassis
The new Model 2180 from Empower RF is a high power RF amplifier system designed to cover the 1 to 2.5 GHz frequency range, and deliver 2 kW CW of broadband output power in an 8U, air cooled chassis. The amplifier features unrivaled size, weight, and power advantages for many test and measurement, electronic warfare, and communication applications.
Model 2180 has a single RF input and output, and a user selectable configuration and operation in three different modes. The compact, lightweight and portable design makes the system easier to maneuver in lab environments or tactical deployments. This amplifier’s user interface capabilities allow users to initiate remote management and diagnostics through an embedded web server. The control system core runs an embedded OS, and has a built-in non-volatile memory for event recording.
