High-Efficiency 4W Power Amplifiers For Small Cell Applications

Skyworks offers a family of high-efficiency 4W power amplifiers (PAs) designed specifically for FDD and TDD 2G/3G/4G LTE small cell base station applications. These fully input/output matched power amplifiers feature high gain and linearity, and operating frequency ranges from 0.7 GHz to 3.8 GHz.
Each power amplifier has integrated active biasing circuitry to compensate the PA performance over temperature, voltage, and process variation. They are housed in 5 x 5 mm, 16-pin packages, and can support 3GPP bands 7, 38, and 41 small cell base stations, driver amplifiers for micro and macro base stations, active antenna arrays, and massive MIMO.
