GPS Antenna splitters eliminate the need to run several antenna cables from several antennas on the roof. You can just run one cable and split it with an antenna splitter as this makes your site installation easier and less expensive.

Some of the GPS antenna splitters on this page are amplified. Amplified splitters allow long cable runs after the splitter. Maximum cable length depends on amplification of the splitter, antenna specifications, and type of cable used.

The LDCBS 1X2 GPS antenna splitter is a one input two output power divider designed specifically for the GPS L1, L2 & GLONASS carrier frequencies. One of the output legs (J2) is DC-Blocked to prevent antenna damage, it also has a 200 ohm DC load to ground to simulate a GPS antenna pre-amplifer current draw. The other output leg (J1) is a DC through to power the antenna.

GPS Antenna Splitter Features

  • Excellent Gain Flatness |L1 – L2| < 0.5dB,
  • Extremely Flat Group Delay Less that 1ns variation
  • Phase Matched Outputs Phase (J1 – J2) < 1.0o

The ALDCBS1X4 GPS Amplified Splitter is a one input, four output device with a 17dB min. gain block. The frequency response covers the GPS L1 & L2 bands with excellent gain flatness. In the normal configuration, one of the splitter RF outputs (J1) passes DC from the connected GPS receiver through the splitter to the antenna, allowing the GPS receiver to power both the antenna and the splitter amplifier. The other RF outputs (J2, J3, J4) are DC loaded with a 200 Ohm resistor to simulate the antenna current draw.

The ALDCBS1X8 GPS antenna splitter is a one input eight output amplified power divider designed specifically for the GPS L1/ L2 & GLONASS carrier frequencies. Seven of the output legs (J2-J8) are DC-Blocked to prevent antenna damage, they also have 200 ohm DC loads to ground to simulate a GPS antenna pre-amp current draw. The other output leg (J1) is a DC short to power the antenna.
