The SLX-148 Frequency Synthesizer offers exceptional phase noise with buffered output in an ultra-miniature surface-mount package.

SLX-Series Frequency Synthesizers are available as fixed-frequency or serially-program-mable. Frequencies from 50 MHz to 4.2 GHz in bandwidths from 50% at fc < 1 GHz to >30% at 2.5 GHz are available with customer-specified step sizes of 5 KHz to 10 MHz.

At 1 GHz frequency output, typical phase noise characteristics are –90 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz and –115 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz offsets; at 3 GHz frequency output, phase noise is –85 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz and –110 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz offsets.
