Broadband Vector Network Analyzer for On-Wafer Device Characterization: VectorStar® ME7838D

Source: Anritsu Company

This VNA covers the 70 kHz to 145 GHz frequency range in a single-sweep through a coaxial test port. It’s ideal for on-wafer device characterization for E band wireless communications, 94 GHz remote sensing and airport radar, 77 GHz car radar, and other emerging applications that run above 110 GHz.

The ME7838D vector network analyzer offers the industry’s best in-class dynamic range (120 dB at 10 MHz, 110 dB at 67 GHz, 109 dB at 110 GHz and 94 dB at 145 GHz), calibration, measurement stability (0.1 dB over 24 hours), and measurement speed (110 ms for 401 points at 10 kHz IFBW). It’s the first VNA that combines RF, microwave, and two mm-wave bands in one coaxial output. Because of its ability to extend all the way to 145 GHz, this analyzer can serve as a multiple band system occupying only one probe station, saving space and eliminating the need to set up separate broadband and waveguide band systems.
