Broadband Blade Antenna 1.7 - 2.5 GHzSource: Haigh-Farr, Inc.
This broadband blade antenna has a frequency band of 1.7 - 2.5 GHz, 30 watts power handling, linear polarization (mainly vertical), with SMA female connection.
Haigh-Farr Blades are a family of low-cost antennas covering the 1.0 GHz Telemetry to 6.6 GHz Beacon Transponder frequency bands. Most models are available for off-the-shelf delivery.
The Blade antennas exhibit omnidirectional coverage in the azimuth plane with a filled-in null in the elevation plane. When mounted to a typical ground plane, the antennas provide approximately +3dBi gain. Exact gain, however, is a function of the ground plane upon which the antenna is mounted.
