Automated Pulsed Phase Noise Measurements
Source: Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation
Berkeley Nucleonics has recently enhanced the 7000 series of fully automated signal source analyzers, and has extended their measurement capabilities to 26 GHz. Not only do these devices measure absolute phase noise on a large variety CW sources, they now perform residual and absolute phase noise characterization of CW and pulsed signals, transient analysis, and VCO characterization. This application note discusses the features and benefits of two 7000 series models available for automated phase noise measurements. Download the full paper for in-depth information on these models and their special capabilities.
