Advanced Decoding Software From COMINT Consulting Now Available On L3/Narda Receivers

COMINT Consulting and Narda Test Solutions announced that COMINT Consulting's elite decoding software, Krypto500, is now available for the NRA-3000 and NRA-6000 remote spectrum and signal analyzers. The NRA (19’’) and IDA (handheld)series is used for monitoring and control of civilian and tactical mobile communications equipment worldwide.

Krypto500 offers more than 60 active, verified modes with more added each month. Its unequaled signal classification specifically categorizes more than 3,000signaling systems and has the capacity to run 32 decoders on one channel, giving users immediate, actionable intelligence. A low-power design allows the software to keep 10 instances of the decoder running while staying under 10% CPU usage.

“As we make great advances in SIGINT around the world, we are glad to partner with L3/Narda equipment,” said the COMINT Consulting President. “The NRA' s network-savvy design and implementation coupled with Krypto500 makes them an extremely powerful COMINT collection system for unmanned and remote applications.”

The NRAs optimized for use in monitoring centers, remote measuring systems or vehicles to analyze systems such as TETRA, 2/3/4G, satellite phones, DECT, WiMAX, and WiFi as well as for telemetry and broadcasting (DAB+, DVB-T, DRM etc.) It covers the 9 kHz – 6 GHz range and can scan up to 500 freely-definable channels in a single sweep and record their minimum, maximum and average power levels. It also features a high-resolution spectrum with up to 600.000 measurement points and utilizes I/Q streaming to offer demodulation, decoding and decryption in conjunction with COMINT Consulting’s Krypto500.
