Using AWR's Microwave Office Design Software To Answer NGNM Alliance Challenge

AWR's Microsoft Office design software was recently implemented by EPCOS and Pulse Electronics, two leaders in their own respective market segments, to create indie; a breakthrough technology that answers the challenge from carriers in the Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) Alliance to develop a single, operator-independent RF platform supporting all NGMN operator frequency bands. This application note covers the projects background, the design challenge associated with it, and the eventual solution.
