Anritsu Becomes World's First Test Supplier To Meet GCF RF And Protocol Certification Targets For LTE Devices
Industry Leader in LTE Test Meets 80% Threshold for Bands 1, 7, 13, and 20
Anritsu Company announces that its ME7873L LTE RF Conformance Test (RFCT) and ME7832L LTE Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) systems have achieved the Global Certification Forum's (GCF) 80% test case validation threshold for multiple bands, thereby supporting the recent start of certification for LTE devices. With this achievement, the ME7873L becomes the first test system in the world to reach the 80% threshold for bands 1, 7, 13, and 20. Additionally, the ME7832L has reached the same threshold for band 13, making Anritsu the only test manufacturer to achieve this status for both RFCT and PCT in this band.

The ME7873L LTE RFCT system offers TX, RX, Performance, RRM, and Operator Acceptance test capability in a single scalable platform, allowing users to verify conformance of a UE's RF layer to 3GPP and operator-specific LTE standards. Pre-written, validated test cases that conform to GCF Work Items and PTCRB Request for Test are available. The system is extremely flexible, as options are available for any LTE band currently scheduled for deployment. Easily changeable test parameters enable the ME7873L to conduct UE performance testing. System options include inter-RAT handover tests and TD-LTE.
The ME7832L LTE PCT system allows users to verify conformance of a UE's protocol stack to 3GPP LTE standards. Pre-written, validated TTCN3 test cases that conform to GCF Work Items and PTCRB Request for Test are available. The ME7832L includes an intelligent test sequencer and protocol analyzer, allowing users to easily schedule tests using a drag and drop graphical interface, as well as display complete protocol sequences with detailed analysis of any message. Options are available to view, edit, and create custom test cases based on the 3GPP 36.523 standard.
