Spectrum Devices Corporation Announces The Release Of A New High Power Avionics 1090 MHz, 150 Watts Peak, 40 Volt RF Power Transistor

Hatfield, PA -- Spectrum Devices Corporation announced the release of their SD1090-150 RF Power transistor designed for the Avionics Transponder, 1090 MHz market. Operating at 1090 MHz and 40 Volts DC, the Power Transistor will provide a minimum Power Gain of 9 dB, with the Output Power specified at 150 Watts PEP. The SD1090 series products will be available in 75 Watt, 150 Watt, 220 Watt and 300 Watt Output power levels with an input pulse of 1us and 1% Duty Cycle. The SD1090-150 is an equivalent to the ST Microelectronics SD1537. The new 150 Watt product utilizes the Spectrum Devices "Standard Cell" design concept, allowing flexibility in the Output Power levels while using the same die design.
SD1090-150 Availability
The SD1090-150 is packaged in the industry standard .250 Square Microwave hermetic flange package. Samples will be available in February 2012. Production availability will be Stock to 12 Weeks ARO, up to 500 pieces. Contact the factory for current pricing and availability.
