Models 2278 and 2279 are small, airborne marker beacon antennas suitable for conformal mounting. They are MIL approved for high performance aircraft and have also been used on supersonic aircraft. All production antennas are immersion tested in accordance with MIL-E-5272 prior to delivery. The 2278 meets MIL-A-5999A (USAF) and has a straight BNC connector.
