Live From IMS2011: Achieving Long-Duration RF Signal Storage From Digital Spectrum Analyzers

Jim Taber, director of marketing for X-COM Systems, shows how his company's IQC2110 signal recorder can be used to capture streaming bandwidth from an Agilent X-series spectrum analyzer, convert the digital data to analog I and Q, and drive an Agilent PSG signal generator to rebroadcast the signal at the original carrier or any arbitrary carrier. He also demonstrates X-COM's Spectro-X software, using it to find a signal of interest in a radar waveform captured by the IQC2110.
