Improving Amplifier Noise For High 3rd Intercept Amplifiers By Texas Instruments
Wide spurious-free dynamic range is certainly the goal for any IF amplifier. This is particularly true for OTH (Over the Horizon) radar as well as other systems using high-resolution digitizers. Recently introduced current feedback amplifiers offer exceptional 3rd order intermodulation intercepts at very
low quiescent power levels, but have been plagued by relatively
poor noise figures.
Dow-Key has over 40 years of heritage in providing switches to many successful space missions. Our Space Product brochure highlights our experience, our space team, our capacity, and our qualification in manufacturing environmental and weight sensitive switches: SPDT, Transfer, T-Switch, Waveguides, and Switch Block designs.
These Ka band I/Q mixers are ideal for radar receiver applications and single-sideband mixers. The LO port is spilt by a 90-degree hybrid to the two mixers. These mixers may also be ordered without the integrated LO amplifier.
A 3U (5.25-inch high) chassis comes with a LAN and IEEE-488 interface with a built-in Resource Manager. It has four slots, which will support any of Giga-tronics ASCOR line of 3000 series switch modules.
The VFHV570 voltage controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) offers wide pull range with extended temperature range. The device delivers frequency stability of ±50ppm and is ideal for military, industrial, and high-temperature commercial applications.
