White Paper: EM Field Level Measurement System Using A New RMS Detector Intended For BTS Monitoring
A new EM field level measurement system is presented in this paper. It does incorporate a new RMS detector which can measure modern digital communication services more efficiently than conventional field probes using diode detectors. The system consists of a field probe with RMS detector, control and storage electronics to allow for permanent 24h measurements, and a communication system to send all collected data to a control center. Final data on controlling the emissions from mobile phone BTS (Base Transceiver Stations) is presented.
