The CMD146 is a highly efficient GaAs mHEMT MMIC distributed amplifier ideally suited for test and measurement and 40 Gb/s optical network applications. The device is op-timized for broadband low harmonic perform-ance and delivers 10 dB of gain with a corre-sponding output 1 dB compression point of +7 dBm at 40 GHz. The CMD146 is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external RF port matching. The CMD146 of-fers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection. This amplifier is the perfect choice for repeater applications where broadband gain and low group delay is re-quired.
