As Over The Air (OTA) measurements become more important in 5G technologies, Anritsu proposes a new measurement method for solving millimeter-wave OTA measurements that solves the current Far-Field Measurement (FFM) challenges, and helps to reduce measurement costs. Based on actual measurement results, Anritsu's Near-Field Measurement (NFM) method is capable of offering improved measurement sensitivity. Anritsu also introduces an NFM solution for the E-band using Non-Linear Transmission Line technology. Interference has unfortunately become much more prevalent with an increasing number of transmitters coming on the air. Wireless service providers use spectrum analyzers to monitor their channels, frequencies, and adjacent spectrums to reveal the interfering signals. In order to increase the functionality and expandability of a spectrum analyzer for improved monitoring and interference management, NI (National Instruments) has paired their PXI hardware with the OASIS spectrum monitoring package to enable deployment of multiple spectrum analyzers with high throughput and improved services.
A properly installed and adjusted cellular amplifier or DAS can provide network coverage in problematic locations.
