C-MAC MicroTechnology has developed a new range of GPS (Global Positioning System) TCXOs (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators), with features that provide superior performance of the GPS Receivers. GPS receivers depend upon their local oscillator as a precise clock for accurate measurement of the time it takes radio signals coming from 4 to 5 satellites (located 11,000 miles above earth) to reach the receiver.
