Mician Technology Now Accessible Through CST DESIGN STUDIO

Darmstadt, Germany -- CST - Computer Simulation Technology and Mician, supplier of EM CAD software, have signed an agreement enabling the further expansion and interoperability of links between CST's design environment and Mician's EDA simulation solutions.
This latest agreement further promotes CST's aim to combine best-in-class solutions for the design engineers' benefit. Users of CST DESIGN STUDIO (CST DS) will have optional access to a subset of µWave Wizard's fully parametric mode matching components (in particular rectangular waveguide steps, t-junctions, and bends). A migration path from the CST DS subset to full µWave Wizard functionality will be available.
µWave Wizard blocks can be added to a design by simple drag and drop operations, enabling the use of mode matching techniques in combination with full 3D and circuit simulation across borders of methods and vendors.
Similar to the integration of CST MICROWAVE STUDIO (CST MWS) in CST DS, the µWave Wizard graphical user interface will be directly accessible through that of CST DS.
