Munich, Germany - M/A-COM Technology Solutions, Inc. recently announced a new high-power (50 Watt) broadband PIN diode switch for WiMAX and Wi-Fi applications.

The MASW-000834-13560T PIN diode is a 50W SP2T broadband, high linearity, common anode T/R switch that is ideally suited for high power WiMAX and Wi-Fi applications. With 4mm MLP package, the new switch offers wideband 0.05 - 6.0 GHz performance with impressive isolation to loss ratio for both Tx and Rx states. The PIN diode provides exceptional 50W C.W. power handling, 65 dBm IIP3 at 2010 MHz for maximum switch performance.
