Fixed Frequency Synthesizer Features Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS1720A-LF in L-band. The SFS1720A-LF is a single frequency synthesizer that operates at 1720 MHz. This Synthesizer features a typical phase noise of -96 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -70 dBc.

The SFS1720A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 35 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 9 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard PLL-V12N package measuring 0.60 in. x 0.60 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SFS1720A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

SFS1720A-LF is well suited for microwave radio and test and measurement applications that require low phase noise performance. For more information, visit http://www.zcomm.com/webstore/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SFS1720A-LF.
