EM Research Launches Frequency Synthesizer And Crystal Oscillator For RADAR System Performance

EM Research recently launched a SMT frequency synthesizer and a SMT phase-locked crystal oscillator, both designed to maximize RADAR system performance.

The CLX-500 phase-locked oscillator from EM Research operates fixed at 500 MHz in surveillance RADAR applications. The CLX maximizes system performance with excellent phase noise, (<-140 dBc/Hz @ 1 KHz), +7 dBm output power and supply of +5VDC @ 120 mA, typical. The CLX Series is available in a surface-mount package, 0.75" x 0.75" x 0.25", (19.0mm x 19.0mm x 6.4mm).

CLX Units from EM Research are available in custom frequencies from 200 to 4000 MHz and are ideal for commercial and military systems requiring a fixed-frequency and exceptional performance.

The PLXO-50 Phase-Locked Crystal Oscillator from EM Research is used as the frequency reference in a surveillance RADAR application. The PLXO, which operates at 50 MHz, maximizes system performance with its exceptional phase noise, (<-150 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz), +7 dBm output power and supply of +5VDC @ 75 mA. The PLXO-50 is housed in a surface-mount package, 0.90" x 0.90" x 0.15", (22.9mm x 22.9mm x 3.8mm).

PLXO Units from EM Research are available in custom frequencies from 4 to 420 MHz and are ideally used as frequency references in RADAR Sensor Systems, VSAT Radios, Point-to-Point & Point-to-Multipoint Radios, Test Equipment, and Industrial Controls in commercial and military applications.
