EM Research Introduces Commercial Surface-Mount Frequency Synthesizer To 10 GHz

Reno, NV -- EM Research introduces the UPN-10000, a surface-mount synthesizer operating (fixed or programmable) frequency ranges to 10 GHz with bandwidths up to 30 percent.

The synthesizer features an external or (optional) internal reference, and operates over the temperature range of -30?C to +70?C (optionally -40?C to +85?C). The unit features output power from +7 dBm, low harmonics (<-20 dBc, typ) and low phase noise (<-80 dBc/Hz @10 KHz, typ – Fout = 10 GHz). The synthesizer operates on a supply voltage at +5V @ 170 mA, typ.

Housed in a small surface-mount package (0.9" x 0.9" x 0.15"), the UPN-10000 is ideal for military applications requiring a robust surface-mount design with exceptional performance.
