ADI High-Speed ADC Behavior Models Now Available For Agilent ADS EDA Software Platform
April 2, 2008
Analog Devices' analog-to-digital converter behavior models are designed to help customers through the complex and intricate design process that requires numerous simulations, computations and evaluations under a variety of frequencies and stimuli in order to achieve desired performance objectives. With ADI's analog-to-digital converter models, Agilent's ADS users can now identify and test off-the-shelf converters for their designs during the early stages of development, eliminating costly re-specification and re-design steps. In addition, Agilent's ADS enables fully standard-compliant evaluations for 4th-Generation (4G) systems such as HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), 3GPP LTE (3rd-Generation Partnership Long Term Evolution) and WiMAX.
Analog Devices library of ADC models support the company's comprehensive set of evaluation tools that enable designers to accurately model the typical performance of ADI's broad range of high speed converters. ADI's ADC model library supports ADIsimADC, ADCAnalyzer and VisualAnalog, each providing designers with consistent results at varying stages of the simulation and evaluation process. ADI's ADC models are available now free via download from the Analog Devices web site and now also support the Agilent Advanced Design System.
