Giga-tronics Announces Aggressive International Sales Expansion

San Ramon, CA - Giga-tronics announced recently two new appointments to strengthen and enhance its international business. Mr. John Regazzi, President and CEO of Giga-tronics announced that Mr. John Dixon has joined the company as Director of Sales for European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) markets, and Mr. Zhao Peng has joined the company as Director of Sales for China and Hong Kong.

Mr. Dixon will be based in the UK with easy access to all of the territory in less than four hours. Mr. Dixon previously held senior positions at Racal Instruments, Ubinetics Ltd. and more recently Comarco Wireless Test Solutions.

Mr. Regazzi stated "Mr. Dixon is fluent in three European languages and has extensive knowledge of the customers in this region as well as having experience in the management of representatives throughout EMEA. His background and expertise in RF and Wireless will be an invaluable asset to Giga-tronics; we have already seen significant orders previously not forecasted from the region."

Mr. Zhao will be responsible for building strong customer relations, creating new opportunities, and facilitating overall business with agents in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as mainland China. Mr. Zhao, who goes by the name Grant, will be located in Giga-tronics' China office in Beijing. Previously, Mr. Zhao held the positions of Sales Manager at Beijing Stone Instruments Co. Ltd., ROOTS Communication Equipment, and Electronic Scientific Engineering Ltd.
